Sent to the Leeds Archives for the will of William Bond
In repsonse to my emailed query, they responded:
Wills for Danby Wiske would usually be proved in the Archdeaconry of Richmond Eastern Deaneries. We hold wills for the Archdeaconry of Richmond Eastern Deaneries and I have checked the indexes for the wills which we hold unfortunately I have been unable to locate a will for William Bulmer c.1808.
There is, however, a will of William Bulmer of Streetlam in the parish of Danby Wisk proved 29 October 1825 (RD/AP1/172/64).
Since my only reason for thinking that William died in 1808 was an entry in the NBI, I’m totally convinced that this is his will so I’ve sent the photocopy request off.
